Today is Thursday, April 9th, and it’s a RED Day.
April is Autism Acceptance Month. Today’s fact is about Barbie Celebrates Neurodiversity: In 2022, Barbie released a doll modeled after a child with autism, named "Autistic Barbie." This doll, with features such as a fidget toy, helps break stereotypes and promotes inclusion.
For all current Juniors with a Partnership application, signed forms are due to H218- Mrs. Pruess- no later than Friday, April 10th, to qualify for an interview.
On Saturday, April 11, the Black Student Union will be hosting its 2nd Annual Soul Food Brunch from 12 PM to 2 PM in the cafeteria. Admission is $10 per person at the door. There will be great food, music, vendors, and a great atmosphere. We hope to see you there!
There will be a Sr Prom follow up meeting on Monday, April 13th during Learn 2 in D108.
Please join members of the GSA in demonstrating peacefully against the harassment of LGBTQ youth this Friday April 10th. Pick up a ribbon to show your support and also grab a pledge card if you intend to stay silent for the day. Ribbons and pledge cards can be found in the Main Office or from Mrs. Clinise, Mr. Baker, Mrs. VanSteenburgh, Ms. Costello, Mr. Mulroy, Mrs. Dynan, or Miss Piergallini.
The HH Wing Bowl is back and will take place on Wednesday, April 22nd during Lunch and Learn in the Aux Gym. You can register to participate by clicking the link in Mr. Grady’s email or by using the QR code on the posters hanging throughout the building. The registration fee is $35 and you can sponsor yourself or get a club you’re involved with to sponsor you. The winner will receive a gift card and their named forever etched on the coveted Goblet of Gorge. Registration ends Friday, April 17th. Spectators are welcome to watch the event. It will be $3 at the door to attend.
Mr. Waeltz has agreed to have pies thrown at him at the MiniTHON Main Event on April 25th if we raise $2,000. Look for the QR code on the TVs to donate.
Seniors-if you have applied for any community scholarships, please check your teams messages as you may be missing documents.
This weekend is the Spring Musical, Legally Blonde! There is a show Tonight at 7:30 pm, Saturday at 7:30 pm, and Sunday at 2:30 pm. Tickets are $10 for students or $15 for adults. Hope to see you there!
Congratulations the members of the Indoor Percussion Ensemble. They will be competing in the WGI Sport of the Arts World Championships in Dayton Ohio next weekend.

Congratulations to Omar Lozada for qualifying individually for Discus at the Penn Relays with a throw of 174’4 4” which puts him 2nd all time in school history right ahead of DWills.
Big win by the Varsity baseball team yesterday who secured a dominant 13-4 victory over Plymouth Whitemarsh fueled by a massive 7-run second inning. Key offensive contributions from Cole Incudine and a home run by Kenny Lutz, supported by winning pitcher Colton Ellis
In Girls Flag Football action, the Hatters earned an impressive 13–0 shutout victory over Bensalem yesterday. Sophomore quarterback Alaina Daniels connected with Caroline Ward for two long touchdown passes. Defensively, sophomore Courtney Rinius led a strong and disciplined effort. It was an outstanding team win for the Hatters
