Morning Announcements
Good Morning, Hatboro-Horsham Students, Faculty, and Staff
Today is Monday, January 5th, and it’s a BLACK Day.
Welcome back. Today may be the first day back after break for many of you. We are working on a 2-hour delay schedule due to Keystone testing. This will be the schedule through Thursday this week. Tomorrow we will continue with Day 2 of the English Keystone Exams. Algebra I Keystone Exams are scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday of this week.
While we have started the new calendar year, the first part of the academic year is coming to a close. We have 15 days remaining until the start of final exams, so the first semester is quickly coming to an end. Be sure to finish strong!
From the Golden Pen: All pieces for consideration in this year’s yearbook must be turned in to Mrs. Pruess in H218 by TODAY. See Mrs. Pruess for further details.
Key Club and Interact are hosting a donation drive for Beds For Kids, a local organization that provides beds and bedding to children and youth in need. Please drop off new pillows, new twin-sized sheets, new or gently used blankets and comforters, and new or gently used books to rooms F209 or H205. The donation drive lasts through January 29th!
This past weekend, Theatre Club attended the Pennsylvania State Thespian Conference. 3 students were inducted into the state’s hall of fame, Emily Murray for Performance, Aidan Lloyd for Technical, and Brenna Lacey for Excellence! Additionally, we want to congratulate Gabriel Conti-Brown for being appointed to the PA State Thespian Officer Board for 2026.
We are excited to host over 500 Special Olympic athletes in May. This event is only possible with the support of our student volunteers. Interested in joining hundreds of HH volunteers? Sign-ups are happening now- find the QR code on any TV in the building. There are many different volunteer roles, don’t miss out on being a part of this amazing event.
LUNCH & LEARN:
Be sure to use lunch and learn wisely as we approach the end of the semester. Check in with your teachers and get any support you need.
Tomorrow, during Lunch & Learn, the US Marines will be here in the Student Success Center.
There will be a Junior Prom Committee Meeting THIS Wednesday, during Learn 1 in Room A134. The Senior Prom Committee will also meet THIS Wednesday in A134 during Learn 2.
