Patricia Driscoll Named President/CEO of Home Health Services
Home Health Services of Texas, Inc., a leading nonprofit home health care agency, today announced the appointment of Patricia Driscoll as president and CEO. Driscoll, who has served as interim president and CEO since December, brings more than 35 years of local health care experience to her new role.
“I’m inspired by the continued growth of the home health industry in general and the strong market share Home Health Services maintains in the Metroplex,” Driscoll said. “Coming from primarily a hospital background, I see the potential for home health care to play a bigger role in creating efficiencies and improving quality in the overall continuum of care. I want to lead our agency in fully realizing that potential and serving as an even stronger partner within the health care community.”
In addition to her new appointment, Driscoll will continue her longstanding role as a professor for Texas Woman's University's Graduate Program in Health Care Administration. She previously served as a vice president and chief operating officer for St. Paul Medical Center and in other managerial positions at Parkland Health and Hospital System and Brookhaven Hospital, now known as Texas Hospital for Advanced Medicine.
“Pat has a wealth of experience and strong relationships within the Dallas health care community,” Mary Jane Anderson, Home Health Services board chairman, said. “We are fortunate to have her join Home Health Services and believe the agency will thrive under her leadership.”
Driscoll is very active in the Dallas medical and philanthropic community, currently serving on the boards of the DFW Health Industry Council and Jewish Family Services of Greater Dallas. She graduated from Southern Methodist University School of Law and earned her master's degree in nursing and health services administration from Texas Woman's University, as well as her bachelor's degree in nursing from Incarnate Word College in San Antonio, Texas.
