Home Health Services of Texas, Inc. Strengthens Clinical Operations
For Immediate Release
PLANO, TEXAS – (Aug. 14, 2006) Home Health Services of Texas, Inc., a leading Texas nonprofit home health care agency, recently appointed Susan Herndon, RN, BSN as its new vice president of clinical operations. Herndon brings more than eight years of clinical management experience in a variety of healthcare settings, including the last five years spent as a regional home care director for a national company.
“Susan’s home care experience is definitely impressive,” Gerry Dutschke, Home Health Services CEO and president, said, “but what is even more impressive is her overall healthcare fiscal and operational management experience. First and foremost, she understands the importance of quality patient care, as well as compliance with government regulations. She also welcomes the new challenge of working with a nonprofit agency like ours, that’s motivation to succeed is driven by our goal to reinvest our services in the community through charity care.”
Herndon comes to Home Health Services from Maxim Healthcare Services, where she served as a director of clinical services for five years. She graduated from Texas Christian University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and will begin working toward her master’s degree part time from Amberton University in the 2006 fall semester.
