Home Health Services is a nonprofit, community-based home care agency serving the sick and elderly throughout the community since 1974. Home Health Services primarily cares for Medicare-eligible patients. Any resulting income from our service to Medicare patients is reinvested in the community to care for those who don't have medical coverage or the financial resources to pay for necessary home care.

The agency employs a full team of onsite case managers, made up of professionals with medical backgrounds including registered nurses and medical social workers, who are dedicated to making the discharge process from the hospital to home as easy as possible for the patient, family and referring professional.

Home Health Services receives no outside funding for the charity care it provides throughout the community. Because our agency must be self-sufficient, we're diligent in providing the best service and care for both our Medicare-covered and non-funded patients, striving to provide better service than the for-profit companies we're competing against.

Home Health Services works closely with the referring physicians and medical professionals who entrust us with their patients' care. Under a doctor's order for home care, a Home Health Services onsite case manager will assess the patient in the facility for home care eligibility and arrange for any necessary medical equipment and community assistance.

The primary goals of Home Health Services are to make the patient and family as independent as possible as soon as possible, and to achieve a maximum level of wellness. In the case of the terminally ill patient, our goal is to promote comfort and dignity during the final stages of an illness.
